Image Origin or External Storage

An origin is any web server or storage that you use for storing your images.

You can attach your existing origin to ImageKit, add and manage multiple origins in a single account and start delivering optimized images from those origins in just a few minutes.

You can find a list of supported origins and how-to configure them by referring to our docs here.

URL Endpoints

Simply put, URL endpoints are the URLs used to access your images. Once you create an account, a default URL endpoint is created to map your image origins or external storages. To learn more about adding URL endpoints in ImageKit, refer to our documentation here.
